Position Summary

As Business Unit Head, a senior-level executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, operations, and performance for our Pharma Business Unit. You will ensure the unit is aligned with the overall company goals, drives revenue growth, and manages the unit's resources effectively. The BU Head reports into the CEO and will become board member of PHT's R&D Operation (China) and PHT Pharma manufacturing Operation (China) legal entities. This position is based at our Charlotte, NC headquarters, but remote work is available.




Job Description (general items but does not include all job duties):

  • P&L ownership of Pharma Business Unit
  • Responsible for development and execution of the Pharma Growth Strategy from pipeline to commercial in line w/PHT International Corporate targets
  • Build and manage sales metrics/goals for team
  • Leading Cross-Functional Teams and cross culture teams
  • Responsible for PHT Pharmaceutical Value Chain from R&D to Manufacturing scale up
  • Attending regular pharma BU meetings (NBD , S&OP, Capex committee meeting , remediation committee meetings)
  • Provide strong customer relations with high customer satisfaction plan
  • Implement, remove, or modify procedures as needed to improve process efficiencies
  • Employee development and management



Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Economics, MBA
  • > 10 years' experience in different leadership roles in the chemical pharmaceutical industry



Requirements

  • > 10 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical small molecule CDMO and API industry in different roles (e.g. S&M, BD, R&D, Quality, Production)
  • Strong customer relationship and Business Development track record
  • Experience with global markets
  • Asian working experiences is a plus
  • Willing to travel up to 40%
